If you’ve ever been to Chawri Bazar, you know how it is. It’s incredibly crowded and noisy. We are right there at 3755 on the main road, ground floor. It’s an old building, like most of them in this part of Delhi. We sell tools and equipment, and there’s barely enough room to move some days. Customers come in and out, often shouting over the noise of the rickshaws outside. We have stacks of boxes everywhere. It gets very hot in the summer, and the humidity makes the metal parts feel sticky. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. The street is always full of people carrying loads on their backs. Sometimes it’s hard to get a truck near the shop to unload new stock. We just manage with what we have. Our desks are small and covered in old invoices. We know the neighbors well since we see them every day. It’s a tough place to work because of the congestion, but it’s where all the action is. We have boxes with all sorts of names on them, but the shop itself looks like any other local hardware place. We just try to find what the customer needs in the middle of all the chaos. It’s 3755, Main Chawri Bazar, so you can't really miss it if you're walking the main stretch. The guys here are used to the pace and don't complain much about the heat.
