Nanda Machine Tools

We’ve been here at the Japan Building on GB Road for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot, mostly full of people looking for specific hardware or big machines they can't find elsewhere. If you walk down Shraddhanand Marg, you’ll see our shop, Nanda Machine Tools. It’s not a fancy place, just a lot of metal, tools, and grease. Most days start early with unloading crates and checking what stock we have left on the shelves. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside and the sound of people haggling over prices. We spend a lot of our time looking through catalogs or checking parts for customers who come in with a broken piece of machinery in their hand. It’s honest work. We deal with a lot of different people, from factory owners to small-scale mechanics. The building itself is old, but it does the job. We don’t have a big team or a slick office, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If someone needs a specific lathe tool or a drill bit, they usually end up here. We try to keep things simple and just focus on getting people what they need so they can get back to their own work. It’s just how things go in this part of town. You get used to the dust and the constant movement of people on the street.
