Uday Plastic

Our shop, Uday Plastic, is located at Sadar Bazar Bahadurgarh Road 2116. It is a very busy area with a lot of trucks and rickshaws going by every minute. We have been here for quite a while now and the shop is usually packed with all kinds of stuff. We have plastic chairs, buckets, and small containers for food. It is a bit messy because we have so many items and not enough shelves to put them all on properly. The floor is made of old stone and it gets quite cold in the winter months. We usually sit on small stools near the front so we can see who is coming in. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside and we have to wipe everything down twice a day. It is hard work but it is what we know how to do. Most of our customers are locals from the nearby streets or people who have been coming to Sadar Bazar for years. We don't have any fancy lights or big signs. Just a simple board with the name on it. My brother and I take turns sitting at the counter. We drink a lot of tea during the day to stay awake. Bahadurgarh Road is never quiet, even late at night. We close the shutters around 8 pm and head home. It is a long day but it feels good to have a shop of our own in such a big market.
