We've been over here in the Lawrance Road Industrial Area for a good bit now. It gets pretty loud around Punjabi Bagh East when all the shops are open and people are moving stuff around. Most days start with opening up the shutters and seeing what came in the day before. Dealing with electronics isn't always straightforward. Sometimes the parts take forever to arrive or something doesn't work the way it's supposed to on the first try. We spend a lot of time at our benches just looking at boards and wires. It’s dusty in the industrial area, so cleaning up is a constant battle. We have a small crew and we mostly just stick to the work. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just some desks, soldering irons, and a lot of components sitting in bins. People find us because they know the area or someone told them we were back here. We usually have the tea guy come by in the afternoon which is a nice break. The traffic on Lawrance Road can be a real headache during rush hour, so we try to get our shipping done early if we can. It’s just how things go here at U T L Electronics India. Some days are slow, others we can't keep up with the pile of work on the table. We just keep at it and try to get things out the door. We don’t have much to show for besides the finished products. The workbench is always a mess of tools but we find our way.
