We’ve been tucked away at 59/15 here in Nehru Place for a good number of years now. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how the crowds can get, especially during the middle of the day when everyone is rushing around. Our work revolves around power transformers, which isn't the most exciting thing to talk about for most people, but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. The office isn't anything special to look at. We have some old desks and plenty of paperwork piled up near the windows. Sometimes the noise from the street gets so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard over the traffic. It’s a lot of technical stuff every day. We spend most of our time looking at diagrams or talking to people about their electrical needs. Sometimes the tea we order from the stall downstairs is the highlight of a long afternoon. We don’t really do big meetings or fancy presentations here. It’s more about getting the units checked and out the door. The space is a bit cramped because of all the parts and tools lying around. We’ve grown used to the chaos of Nehru Place though. It feels like home after all this time. We just try to do the work right so we don't have problems later. It’s a simple operation really, run by people who just want to get through their workday and go home.
