You can find us in Jamia Nagar, specifically in the Okhla area at R-166. It’s a Timex shop, but it feels more like a local watch place where things are a bit slow and steady. We have watches in the glass cases, of course, but a lot of what we do is just helping people with small problems. Maybe a strap is broken or a battery died. The street outside, R-166, is always full of students and people working in Okhla, so there’s a lot of foot traffic. It’s a narrow shop, and it’s usually quiet inside except for the ticking of the clocks on the wall. Sometimes it feels like we’re in a different world compared to the noisy traffic outside. We don’t use any loud music or fancy gadgets to get people in. Most people just notice the sign and realize their watch has been wrong for three days, so they pop in. We sit at the small desk with the magnifying glass and the tiny screwdrivers. It’s fiddly work and takes some patience. We’ve been in Jamia Nagar for a while, and the neighbors are good people. We keep the glass clean and the lights on, and that’s about it. It’s just a place to get your time back on track without any fuss or extra talk, just focusing on the gears and the hands of the watches.
