We’re over at C-39/1 in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. It’s an old part of the city and the roads can be pretty bumpy around here. Our unit is basically a large shed with a small office partitioned off in the corner. We’ve been working out of this spot for a long time. There's always a lot of noise from the nearby factories, and the air smells like metal and oil most days. We don't have many visitors, but when we do, we usually just pull up a plastic chair. The floor is concrete and has plenty of stains from years of work. We aren't big on decorations; we just have a calendar on the wall and some old photos. Our days start early, usually before the traffic gets really bad. We handle all the loading and unloading ourselves. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s where we get things done. We don’t have a website or anything like that. Most people just find us by word of mouth or by walking past. We keep the tools organized as best we can, but it’s a constant battle. It’s just a regular industrial workshop. We work hard, go home, and come back the next day to do it again. It’s not a glamorous life, but it suits us fine.
