Surya Plastic Udyog

We operate out of Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase II. It’s a big, grey area full of factories and warehouses. At Surya Plastic Udyog, we focus on making plastic goods. We have a couple of large machines that run almost all day. The heat inside the building can get pretty intense, especially during the summer months when the sun beats down on the roof. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls. It’s just concrete, machines, and stacks of raw material. Our workers are local guys who have been with us for a long time. We mostly deal with bulk orders, so there are always trucks loading up in the driveway. It can get a bit chaotic when three trucks arrive at the same time. We don't really have a sales team. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. We just focus on getting the plastic mix right and making sure the molds are clean. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the gauges. We eat our lunch together in a small corner of the shop. It’s a simple operation. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to make decent products and keep the machines running without too many breakdowns. That’s how life is here in Mayapuri. Every day is pretty much the same and we like it that way.
