Surindera Traders

Surindera Traders is located at Kamla Nagar Kamla Market 95, which is a place that never really seems to slow down. Our space is mostly filled with boxes and ledgers because that’s what trading involves. It’s a lot of paperwork and making sure the stock that comes in matches what we ordered. The walls are a bit yellowed from time, and there are stacks of old records in the corners that we probably should have thrown away years ago. We deal with a lot of different suppliers, so the phone is always ringing with someone on the other end asking about a delivery. Kamla Nagar has its own rhythm, and we are just one part of that busy market scene. The air is often thick with the smell of cardboard and old paper. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a place of business where we sit at wooden desks and figure out the numbers. My chair squeaks every time I move, but I’m used to it by now. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day while we wait for the loaders to finish their work. Sometimes the shipments are late, and then everything gets backed up, which makes for a long evening. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do here in the market. We just keep track of the goods and try to stay organized.
