Steel Craft India

We have been here in Kirti Nagar Industrial Area for quite a while now. If you walk down to 5/1 A, you’ll find our gate. It is usually pretty noisy because of the machines running all day. Steel is what we deal with mostly. The floor is always covered in bits of metal and dust, but that is just how it is when you are working with these materials. Sometimes the tea guy comes around and we take a quick break. Most of the time though, we are just busy getting things cut or welded. It is not a fancy place. Tucked in the corner are some old desks where we handle the paperwork. When the power goes out, everything goes quiet for a bit, which is actually a nice change. My father started this and now I spend most of my time here. We know the neighbors well. Truck drivers usually struggle with the narrow turns near our entrance. We just try to get the work done right so people come back next time they need something made. It is a lot of hard work and the summer heat makes it tough inside the shed. Our fans keep blowing but it stays warm. There is always a pile of scrap in the back waiting to be moved. It’s just a normal workshop doing what we know. The office door squeaks every time someone opens it, but we never got around to oiling it. That's just Steel Craft India for you.
