Standard Refrigeration is located right on Netaji Subhash Marg in Darya Ganj. We occupy the space at 3732-34. It’s a very old part of the city, and it feels like it. The building has a lot of character, let's put it that way. We’ve been here for years, dealing with refrigeration parts and equipment. Darya Ganj is always crowded, so there is never a quiet moment outside our door. Inside, it's a bit of a maze with all the cooling units and spare parts stacked up. We have a small team, and we’ve all worked together for a long time. It feels more like a family than a company most days. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the news when things are slow. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it. It’s a practical business. We know our stuff when it comes to fridges and cooling systems. Customers come in looking for specific parts they can’t find elsewhere. We usually have them tucked away somewhere in the back. It is a bit dusty and the lighting isn't great, but it works for us. We just keep going, day after day. Sometimes the monsoon rains leak through the window, so we keep some buckets handy. It's not fancy, but it is home for us during the work week.
