Over in Phase I of Ashok Vihar, we have our little setup at K-7. We deal in all sorts of plastic things. Buckets, tubs, containers for the kitchen, that kind of stuff. The shelves are packed tight, almost reaching the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes. We have been running Sneh Plastics for a good while now. Most of the people who come in are just looking for something sturdy for their house. We don't have fancy displays. Just items stacked up so people can see what they are getting. The smell of new plastic is pretty strong when you first walk in, but we don't notice it anymore. Some of the colors are really bright, which makes the shop look cheerful even on a cloudy day. We sit on small plastic stools near the front. It’s a quiet part of the block, so we chat with the neighbors quite a bit. Sometimes kids come in looking for a specific lunchbox. We try to keep things that last. It isn't a big corporate operation. Just us and the stock we get in every few weeks. We write down all the sales in a big register by hand. It’s easier that way for us to track things. If you need a good water jug or a bin, we usually have a few different types tucked away in the back corners. We just stay here until the evening when everyone else closes.
