If you're coming from the Mansarovar Park Metro Station, we are just a short walk away in Friends Colony. It’s Gali Number 1, up on the first floor at 465/B. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you're carrying anything heavy. Being in Shahdara means it’s always crowded outside, with rickshaws and people everywhere. Inside our place, it’s mostly shelves filled with electrical parts and wires. We spend a lot of time counting stock and checking invoices. It’s a simple setup, nothing too modern or flashy. The light in the office is okay during the day but we rely on our own bulbs once the sun goes down. Most of the guys here have lived in this part of Delhi their whole lives. We know the shortcuts through the lanes to avoid the main road traffic. Sometimes the electricity flickers, which is funny considering what we do for a living. We keep a small kettle for tea and usually have a few snacks around for when things get busy in the afternoon. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes around and making sure the right orders get to the right people. We don't use big words or fancy systems, just notebooks and a computer that’s seen better days. It's a decent place to work and we have been here for a long time now. We just take each day as it comes.
