Shri Radhika Moulding

Shri Radhika Moulding is based in Rohini, Block-B, Sec-8 at B-6/78. We are in a busy part of Sec-8 where there are a lot of small workshops like ours. We have a couple of moulding machines that run for most of the day. The sound of the plastic being shaped is something I’ve grown used to over the years. It’s a warm place because of the heaters in the machines. We make different types of small plastic parts that go into other products. The floor is usually covered with little scraps of plastic and some oil spills. I spend most of my time checking the pieces as they come out to make sure they aren't warped. We are a small team, just me and two workers. We don't have any big corporate structure here. It’s just us doing the work day in and day out. Sometimes the raw material delivery gets delayed and we have to wait around, but usually, we are quite busy. The shop is a bit dark because the windows are small, but we have good overhead lights for the work. Most of our neighbors are also into some kind of manufacturing. We share a cup of tea in the afternoons and talk about the local news. It’s a steady routine. We’ve been in this specific spot in Rohini for many years now and it suits us fine for the work we do.
