Our shop is situated at Rana Pratap Bagh, specifically Shop No 4 in the C Block area of House No 1/2. It’s a typical trading spot where we deal with a variety of goods coming in and out every week. The space is often filled with cardboard boxes and plastic wrapping because we are always receiving new stock. It can get a bit cramped inside when a big shipment arrives, and we have to shuffle things around just to find a place to stand. We handle different items depending on what’s in demand or what our suppliers have available at the time. The counter is usually covered with invoices and small scraps of paper where we’ve jotted down orders. Customers from the local C Block neighborhood stop by, and we spend a good part of the morning just chatting while we work. It’s not a corporate setup by any means; it’s more about keeping the shelves stocked and making sure the accounts are mostly right. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic and shows up late, which throws off our whole afternoon. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us doing the heavy lifting and the selling. The floor needs a good sweep every few hours because of all the dust from the street. It’s just a regular local trading business trying to keep things moving smoothly in Rana Pratap Bagh without too much fuss or complicated systems. We try to keep it simple and honest every single day here.
