Okhla Industrial Estate Phase II B 25 is where we spend all our time. The machines here make quite a bit of noise throughout the day. We work with plastic, doing moldings and getting orders ready for various clients. It is a factory environment, so there is always a layer of dust and the smell of heating plastic in the air. We have a small crew that has been here for years. We know the rhythm of the loaders coming in and out. The floor is usually covered with raw granules and finished pieces waiting to be packed into sacks. We drink a lot of water because it gets very hot near the injection units. Every morning we check the production schedule to see what needs to be run first on the line. It isn't a glamorous place, just a workspace where we get things done. The address is easy to find if you know this part of the industrial estate. We spend our afternoons packing crates and marking them with markers. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend hours fixing a mold or a belt. That is just part of the life here. We don't have a fancy office, just a small cabin with some chairs and a big ledger book. We keep it simple and keep the production moving as best as we can without any fuss. It is a long day but we are used to it by now.
