Shiv Shakati Export & Import

Our place, Shiv Shakati Export & Import, is right on National Highway 1 in Sector 13. Being near the highway means we see a lot of traffic passing by all day. It’s a good spot for moving things in and out, which is basically what we do. We handle the shipping side of things and try to keep the paperwork straight. It gets a bit hectic when the big trucks arrive, and everyone has to move fast to get the loading done. We aren’t a big corporation with hundreds of people. It’s just us here in the office and the warehouse area. We’ve got some stacks of boxes that seem to never go away and a phone that rings more than I’d like. Sometimes things get mixed up or a shipment takes longer than expected, but we work through it. It’s practical work. We don’t really have time for meetings or long talks. We just check the lists and make sure the items are going where they need to go. The weather can be a bit much sometimes, especially when it's hot and we're out on the dock. We just keep a fan going and keep moving. Sector 13 is a busy area, but we’ve found our rhythm here. It's not a glamorous job, just honest work dealing with goods and transport. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the boxes just pile up and we have to catch up later.
