Shilpa Electrical

Down in the Moti Nagar Industrial Area at number 61, that’s where Shilpa Electrical is located. It’s a different kind of vibe here compared to the residential streets. There’s a lot of noise from the factories and trucks moving in and out all day long. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We deal with wires, switches, and all sorts of electrical parts that people need for their projects. The shelves are packed pretty high, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what’s tucked away in the back. The air in Moti Nagar usually has that metallic smell of industry. We spend a lot of our time organizing boxes and talking to the workers who stop by. It’s not a place for window shopping; people come here because they have something to fix or build. The floor is concrete and we don’t mind a bit of dirt or grease because that’s just how an electrical shop in an industrial area is. Number 61 is an old building, but it holds everything we need. We’ve got a small desk where we keep our books and a few chairs for when someone wants to sit for a minute. It’s a practical place for practical work. We start early when the first trucks arrive and stay until the shift changes. It’s just our little corner of the Moti Nagar Industrial Area.
