Shakti Fibre (India)

Shakti Fibre (India) is tucked away in Okhla Industrial Estate Phase II at number 33. This area is always loud with the sound of trucks and machines, and our place is no different. We spend most of our days dealing with raw fiber materials and getting orders ready for various clients. The workshop floor is almost always covered in scraps and dust, no matter how much we try to sweep it up. It’s just part of the job when you’re working with these materials. I have a small wooden desk in the corner that’s piled high with papers and old receipts. It gets really hot under the tin roof during the summer months, but we have a few big pedestal fans that help keep the air moving. Most of the guys working here have been with me for a long time, so we don't really need to talk much to know what needs to be done. We aren't a big corporate office with polished floors and glass walls. It’s a factory through and through. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the night fixing them so we don't fall behind on a deadline. It’s exhausting but that’s how it goes in Phase II. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. We just focus on getting the work finished.
