Sanjay Plastics is right in the middle of the madness that is Sadar Bazar, on Bahadur Garh Road at 3007/5J. If you have ever been to Sadar Bazar, you know how packed it is with people and goods. Our shop is basically a mountain of plastic. We have everything from household items to things you wouldn't even think of. The space is filled from floor to ceiling, and sometimes we have to use a long pole to get things down from the top shelves. It’s a lot of moving heavy bags and boxes around every single day. We don’t have a lot of room to walk inside, so most of the business happens right at the front edge of the shop. There is a lot of shouting and bargaining because that is just how things work in this market. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, and there is always someone drinking tea or checking an invoice. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still written down in big ledgers. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. The heat in the summer can be tough with all that plastic around, but we just keep the fans going. It’s a busy, loud, and very real place to work. We’ve been on Bahadur Garh Road for a long time now.
