Sancheti Vinyl

Our place is out in Mundka Swarn Park at B 33/1. Sancheti Vinyl is mostly just a big room filled with heavy rolls of flooring and plastic sheets. It is quite a dusty area because of all the construction and trucks moving around the industrial park. We spend a lot of time cutting material to size and loading it onto small tempos. The smell of vinyl is very strong when you first walk in but after a few hours you don't even notice it anymore. We don't have fancy office chairs or air conditioning in the main area. It gets very hot during the summer months and we just keep the big door open to catch whatever breeze there is. There are usually three of us working here and we take turns handling the heavy lifting. The floor of the warehouse is always cluttered with scraps of material that we sweep up at the end of the week. We get a lot of people from the local industries looking for bits of vinyl for their own projects. It is a simple operation and we like it that way. Most of our days are spent checking the inventory and making sure the rolls are stacked safely so they don't fall over. We have a small table in the corner where we sit and eat our lunch together. It’s nothing special but it’s our daily routine.
