Sahil Traders

Sahil Traders is based out of Daya Basti on the Old Rohtak Road. We are at number 318/2, which is an old building that has seen better days, honestly. The area is always crowded with people and carts, and the noise from the road never really stops. We deal in general trading, which means a bit of everything passes through our hands. It could be hardware one week or something completely different the next. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the other shopkeepers on Old Rohtak Road. It’s a community where everyone knows what everyone else is doing. My nephew helps me out with the books and the lifting since I’m getting a bit older now. We don’t have a showroom or anything fancy like that. There are just piles of goods and a small desk where we handle the cash and receipts. It is a simple way to make a living, and it has served us well. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little through the front, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. People know where 318/2 is, so we don’t need to do much to get customers. They just show up when they need something. It’s a bit disorganized at times, but we know where everything is kept in the back. I usually sit on a wooden stool near the entrance watching the world go by.
