S S Polymers

Our office is in Toot Sarai, specifically at Flat 122/1 in the Ganpati Apartment building. It’s a bit of a residential area for a business like S S Polymers, but it works for what we do. We deal with various polymer materials and supplies. Most of our work involves taking orders over the phone and coordinating where things need to go. It’s not a big factory floor here, just a quiet space with a few desks and a lot of paperwork. Malviya Nagar can get pretty busy, so we appreciate the relative quiet of the apartment block. We started this because we knew a bit about the industry and saw a way to make it work. Usually, there’s a kettle going for tea and some samples of plastic pellets on the desk. We talk to suppliers and customers all day. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s steady. Sometimes the courier gets lost finding the flat, so we have to go down to the gate. We keep track of everything in old ledgers and on a couple of computers. It’s a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything. We don't have a big sign outside. If you know where we are, you just come up. It’s a practical setup for managing the logistics of what we handle. We’re just trying to keep the orders moving and the bills paid. It's a simple life running a small polymer business from a flat.
