We started S S Battery Supply Co a while back here in Mayur Vihar Phase III. Most folks around New Kondli know where we are at C-4/94. It isn't a huge place, just a shop where we keep different types of batteries for cars and home inverters. Dealing with power cuts is just part of life here, so we try to keep things in stock. When someone comes in with a dead battery, we just look at what they need and see if we have it ready. Sometimes it gets busy, especially in the summer months when the heat hits the backup systems hard. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. It’s mostly just us handling the lifting and the charging. There’s no big office or fancy waiting room, just the counter and the stacks of units. We know the neighbors and the local mechanics who drop by. If you walk past the block, you’ll probably see us moving crates around or checking some connections. It’s honest work and keeps us occupied from morning till evening. We don't really do much advertising because people usually find us when they are stuck. It’s a straightforward setup. We keep the floor clean as we can, though battery lead and dust always find a way in. That’s just how the job goes. We just focus on getting the right battery into the right hands so they can get back to their day. It’s what we do here in our corner of the neighborhood.
