S M Plastic

We are located at C-37/6 in the Lawrence Road Industrial Area. S M Plastic is a typical factory setup for this part of Delhi. It’s not a pretty building to look at from the outside, just a big metal gate and the sound of machines humming coming from inside the shed. Lawrence Road is always full of trucks and small tempos moving sacks of goods around. Inside our unit, it’s mostly about the raw materials and the finished plastic items stacked up in the corners. The floor is concrete and has some stains and scratches from years of heavy work. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the production floor checking the machines or talking to the staff about the day's schedule. It’s loud in there, so we do a lot of shouting and gesturing to be heard. The heat from the machines makes the summer days pretty tough, but we keep the big industrial fans blowing all day long. We've been at C-37/6 for a good bit of time now and know the area well. The neighbors are all doing similar industrial work, so there's a lot of shared noise and dust in the air. We usually eat our tiffin in a small corner near the back where it's a bit quieter. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t spend money on fancy stuff because the work gets done and the trucks get loaded every single evening. It’s just the daily grind of Lawrence Road.
