Rawat Digital Studio

If you find yourself in Palam Colony, you might see our studio over in Raj Nagar II. We are at number 37 in Shri Shyam Colony, which is a fairly quiet street most of the time. Rawat Digital Studio is basically just me and a few cameras. I spend a lot of my time taking passport photos for people who are in a hurry to get their documents sorted. It isn't the most exciting work, but it pays the bills and I get to meet everyone in the neighborhood. I have a small computer setup in the back where I do the editing and printing. Sometimes people bring in old, torn photographs and ask if I can fix them, which can be a real challenge. The lights in here are a bit bright, but that is what you need for good pictures. I remember when I first opened, I didn't have much equipment, but I have slowly added bits and pieces over the years. Children often come in for school photos, and they can be quite a handful to get to sit still. I keep some sweets in a jar to help with that. It is a local business, through and through. We don't have a fancy storefront, just a simple sign and some samples of my work in the window. It is a steady life and I enjoy the routine of it.
