Ravirajan Co

I run Ravirajan Co from a small room in the Ca Building, which is situated right in the heart of the main market at Mangal Bazar in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi 92. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know exactly how packed and noisy it gets, especially when the market is in full swing. Our office is right there in the middle of all that chaos. I’ve been operating from this spot for quite a few years now, and while the space isn’t very large or modern, it serves its purpose for the kind of work I do. It is mostly just me and a couple of helpers managing files and helping out the local shopkeepers with their daily paperwork and accounts. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big reception area; people usually just walk in and find us sitting among piles of ledgers and folders. The building itself is quite old and the stairs are a bit narrow and steep, so it can be a real struggle when we have to carry heavy boxes of records up to the second floor. Sometimes the power goes out in the middle of the afternoon, and we just have to sit by the window and watch the crowd below until the lights come back on. It’s a very basic way to work, but it suits the local environment here perfectly. We know almost everyone in the building and the neighboring shops, which makes the long day go by a bit faster. We just do what needs doing.
