We’ve been here in Mangol Puri Industrial Area at T2/156 for quite a while now. Most days it’s just the sound of machines and people moving crates around. The industrial area gets really dusty in the afternoons, but we just keep working through it. It’s not a fancy place, mostly just rows of plastic molds and bags of raw material piled up near the door. Sometimes the electricity acts up, so we have to stop and wait, which is annoying when there is a lot to finish. My hands usually have some grease or bits of plastic on them by lunchtime. We make all sorts of small plastic items that people need. It’s hard work, especially when the weather gets hot and the fans don’t do much. We don't really have a big office or anything, just a small desk in the corner with a lot of old papers and a stapler that barely works. People come by to pick up their orders in small tempos. The street outside is always narrow and crowded with other trucks. We try to get things done on time, though sometimes the machines need fixing and that slows us down. It’s just how it goes here. We’ve known the guys in the neighboring units for years. We share tea sometimes when things are quiet. It’s a busy life but it keeps us going. Most of the time, we’re just focusing on the next batch of production at Ravindera Plastic Works.
