Ramesh Gupta

Ramesh Gupta works out of Patiala House Courts 54. It’s a busy place with people rushing around all the time. Most days are spent looking through papers or waiting for things to happen in the halls. It gets quite loud in the mornings when everyone arrives. The office is small but it fits what we need. There are stacks of files everywhere because things just pile up. We try to stay organized but it is hard when new stuff comes in every hour. Working at Patiala House Courts means you see a lot of different people. Some are stressed and some are just waiting. We've been here for a long time now. You get used to the pace after a while. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that's the best part of the afternoon. We don't have any flashy signs or big advertisements. Most people just find us by walking through the building or asking around. It’s a practical workspace, nothing more. We handle the daily tasks as they come. It might look a bit cluttered to an outsider, but we know where everything is. The chair is a bit old and the desk is scratched up from years of use. That is just how it is when you’ve been in the same spot for years. We stay until the work is done, which is often late.
