Ramanand Mittal

My name is Ramanand Mittal and you can usually find me over at the Delhi High Court, specifically in chamber 241. Being a lawyer in a place like the High Court means my days are never really the same. It’s a lot of running back and forth between different halls and dealing with a mountain of paperwork. My office isn't one of those fancy ones you see on TV with leather chairs and mahogany walls. It’s a working space, filled with law books, old files, and a computer that’s seen better days. I’ve spent a lot of my life in these corridors, so I know the rhythms of the court pretty well. It’s loud, it’s busy, and sometimes it’s a bit frustrating when things get delayed. I don't use much legal jargon when I'm talking to people because I think it’s better if everyone understands what’s actually happening. I try to be straightforward about how things work here. People come to me when they have problems that need solving, and I do my best to help them navigate the system. It’s not an easy job, but I’ve been at it long enough that I don't really want to do anything else. If you have a reason to be at the court and need to find me, just look for number 241. I’m usually there unless I’m stuck in a hearing or meeting someone outside.
