If you head over to Gamma I and look for B41, you will find our place, Raman Instruments Pvt Ltd. It is more of a workspace than a shop where people come to browse. Most of the time, the rooms are filled with boxes and different types of measuring tools that we keep on the metal shelves. It stays fairly quiet around here compared to the main market areas, which is nice when you are trying to focus on technical stuff. The floor is that old grey stone that stays cold in the winter. We have been in this building for some time now, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the equipment to worry about that. When you walk in, you will likely see someone hunched over a desk with a magnifying glass or a set of calipers. There is no big front desk or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will look up from what they are doing to help you. We get a lot of technicians and people from the nearby industrial plots stopping by to pick things up or ask a question about a specific tool. The light from the windows is good in the morning, which helps with the small parts we handle. It is just a practical place for people who need specific instruments for their work and want to deal with people who know the gear.
