Raman Agarwal

If you spend any time around the Tis Hazari courts, you probably know the Gajanand Block. That’s where I’m based. I am Raman Agarwal, and I’ve been working from this office for several years now. It is a very active area, always filled with people rushing to and from different courtrooms. My space in Gajanand Block is where I do all my research and meet with people who need assistance with their legal concerns. It’s a bit of a maze in this building if you aren’t used to it, but once you find the right corridor, it’s pretty simple. I don't have a big team or a flashy reception area. It is mostly just me surrounded by stacks of paper and law books that have been there since I started. The coffee nearby isn't great, but it keeps us going during the long afternoons when we have to prep for the next day's hearings. I handle a variety of local legal matters. I grew up around here, so I’m familiar with how things work in this part of Delhi. Dealing with the court system requires a lot of patience, which is something I’ve had to learn over time. The office stays open late most nights because the work never really seems to end. It’s a practical setup, focused on getting the job done without too much fuss or extra cost for the people who come to see me.
