Rama Electirc Machinery Stores

If you head over to G B Road and look for Rama Market, that’s where you’ll find our store at 3860. It’s a crowded area, full of shops selling all sorts of hardware and machinery. Our place is packed from floor to ceiling with electric motors, tools, and spare parts. There isn't much room to walk around, so you have to be careful not to knock anything over. I’ve been working here for years, and my clothes always have a bit of grease on them. It’s just the nature of the job. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a warehouse where people come when they need something specific to get their own machines running again. You get all sorts of people coming in, from big contractors to guys just trying to fix a pump at home. We talk about specs and sizes all day long. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of new metal and rubber. Sometimes it gets frustrating when we can’t find a small part right away, but we eventually dig it out from the back. It’s a loud, busy environment but I like it. There’s always someone new coming through the door with a problem to solve. We just stay here until the shutters go down at night, then we do it all again the next day. It’s practical work for people who need things fixed.
