Ram Sharma

I've been here at Shahdara near the Karkardoom Courts for a while now. Most days start pretty early because that’s when the area starts getting busy with people heading to the courts. It’s a lot of noise and traffic outside my door at number 25. Ram Sharma is just me, really, handling things as they come. I don’t have a big office or a fancy sign. It’s just this spot where I get my work done. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions because the court complex is so big and confusing. I don't mind. I’ve lived around here long enough to know the shortcuts. My desk is usually covered in papers and there is always a cup of tea getting cold somewhere. I didn't plan on writing much about myself today, but that’s how it goes. The building is old but it stays cool in the summer which is a blessing. Dealing with the daily crowd is just part of the routine. I focus on what needs to be finished before the sun goes down. It isn't always easy keeping up with everything, especially when the power goes out or the street gets blocked by a protest or something. But this is the place I know. If you are walking around Karkardoom, you’ll probably pass right by me. I’m just trying to keep things moving along steadily. It's just honest work in a busy part of town.
