Raju Associates

Our office is located in Dakshinpuri, at the 161 and 162 plots. It is a neighborhood where everyone seems to know everyone else. We have been working out of this space for a good number of years. It is a straightforward operation. We have some desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of papers. We deal with people from the community who need help with various bits of paperwork or advice. It is not the kind of place with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever is free. My associates and I have been together for a while, so we have a system that works for us. The streets outside can be a bit narrow and crowded, especially when the market is on. We do not mind the noise; it is just part of being in this area. We spend most of our time answering phones or writing things down. It is practical work. Sometimes we have to go out to meet people or check on things elsewhere in the city. When we are here, we are busy. The building itself is plain, just brick and concrete, but it stays cool enough in the summer. We are not trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. We just want to get the work done and go home at the end of the day. That is how we run things here.
