Rajinder S Kashyap

I’ve been around the Shahdara area for a long time now. Most days you’ll find me over at Karkar Dooma Court, specifically at K 101. It’s a busy place, always people rushing around with papers and files. I started doing this work because I liked the neighborhood and wanted to stay close to home. The office isn't anything fancy, just a desk and some chairs where we sit and talk through things. People come in with all sorts of questions. Sometimes it’s loud outside with the traffic, but inside we just try to get the paperwork sorted. I’ve lived in this part of Delhi my whole life. My name is Rajinder S Kashyap and I handle the day-to-day things here myself. You know how it is with legal buildings, it can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. I try to keep things simple. There’s no big team or corporate office, just me and occasionally some help when things get really backed up. If you're walking near the court, you've probably passed the door a dozen times. We don't have a big sign or anything. It’s just a practical space for practical work. I like that people know they can just drop by and see a familiar face. Dealing with court matters takes a lot of patience. I spend a lot of time waiting on lines or checking schedules. It’s just how it goes here. We make sure the files are where they need to be. It’s a living.
