Rajesh Bhatt

I’ve been set up here at Patiala House Courts for a good bit now. It is always a bit chaotic around this area but that is just how things go. Rajesh Bhatt is the name on the door and mostly I am just here trying to get through the paperwork and meeting folks who walk in. The courts have a specific rhythm to them. You see a lot of people coming and going every day. Some look stressed and some are just waiting around for their turn. My spot is right in the middle of all that activity. I didn't plan on being here forever but somehow time just slips by. It's not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of files that seem to grow on their own. People ask how I handle the noise and the crowd but you get used to it after a month or two. It feels more real than sitting in some quiet glass building far away. I handle things as they come. Sometimes it is slow and I just sit and watch the hallway. Other times there isn't even a minute to grab a cup of tea from the guy outside. It is just life at the courts. If you are around Patiala House you will probably see me or my name. I just do what I can and try to keep things moving for everyone. This is just where I work and how it goes.
