Raj Photo Studio

Running a place like Raj Photo Studio in Fatehpur Beri means you see a lot of faces every day. We’ve been here for a while now, sitting right in the heart of the village area. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with cameras, some old backgrounds, and a few lights that have seen better days but still work just fine. When people come in, it’s usually for something quick like a passport photo or maybe they need a family picture for a special occasion. Fatehpur Beri is a place where everyone knows everyone else, so we don't really have to explain who we are. People just walk in, sit on the stool, and we take the shot. Sometimes the printer gets a bit slow or the lighting isn't exactly how I want it, but we manage to get it done. It’s a simple life here. I spend a lot of time sitting behind the counter waiting for the next person to walk through the door. The fan hums in the corner and there’s always noise from the street outside. I don’t think about making this place look like a big city studio because that’s not what people here want. They just want a photo that looks like them. That’s what we do at Raj Photo Studio. It is what it is. Just a local shop for local people, day in and day out.
