We are Rain Fruits And More Pvt Ltd, located at C 79 in the Dabri Extension area, just off East Pankha Road in New Delhi. This part of the city is always moving, and our warehouse is no different. We deal with fruits and a few other food items, hence the "and more" in our name. It's a lot of early mornings for us. The crates come in before the sun is even up, and we have to get everything sorted and ready. It’s a bit messy, as you can imagine with fresh produce. There’s always the smell of citrus or whatever happens to be in season hanging in the air. The floors are often wet from cleaning, and there is a lot of shouting back and forth to get the trucks loaded. We’re a straightforward bunch. We don't have a fancy storefront; it’s mostly just a practical space for moving goods. We’ve been in Dabri Extn for a good while, so we know the local distributors and the delivery drivers pretty well. We don't bother with much advertising because the quality of the fruit usually speaks for itself. It’s hard work, especially in the Delhi heat, but we’ve got a good rhythm down. We just focus on getting the produce from the farms to the shops without it sitting around for too long. It’s a simple business but it keeps us very busy. We mostly just stick to what we know and try to keep the stock fresh for the customers.
