Rahul Enterprises

Being out here in Jodhpur at Plot No 220 in the Ligh Scheme on Pal Link Road is quite nice. We are near the Maulana Azad School so you can always hear the kids playing during recess time. This place for Rahul Enterprises is where I spend almost all my time. The Jodhpur heat can be really something else so we keep the coolers running all day long. It’s a decent sized plot and we use every bit of it for storing things and handling the daily business. I grew up around here so I know most of the people on Pal Link Road pretty well. It’s not a corporate headquarters or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we manage our operations. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside and we have to clean the desks twice a day. I started this because I wanted to stay in Rajasthan and build something for myself. It’s mostly just me and a couple of guys helping out with the heavy lifting and the deliveries. We don't have a big sign out front but everyone knows where 220 is. It is just a regular local business trying to make a way in the city. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea while looking at the school gates. We keep the gate open most of the day so people can walk in.
