R. R. P. Foam Products

R. R. P. Foam Products is tucked away at V-462 on Street No-19 in Vijay Park. Maujpur is a crowded area with a lot of narrow lanes and busy neighbors, so it took us a bit to get settled in here when we first started. We make and sell different types of foam, mostly for cushions, sofas, and mattresses. The workshop is always full of that specific smell of new foam and industrial glue. It’s a very manual job. We spend most of the day cutting big blocks of foam into smaller pieces and stacking them up for delivery. The space is filled with off-cuts and rolls of material, so you really have to watch where you step so you don't trip. It’s not the cleanest environment, but it’s where the work happens. We have a few machines that can be quite loud when they’re running in the afternoon. Most of our customers are local furniture makers or repair shops who come by to pick up what they need for their own projects. We don't have a website or any social media. If people want to buy from us, they usually just walk in or call the old landline we have on the wall. We’re just a small local outfit trying to make a living. We don't have any big goals of becoming a giant company. We just like making sure the foam is cut right and the customers are satisfied. It’s a lot of physical work.
