R P Sharma Engravers is over in Anand Parbat on Gali No 4. Specifically we are at F 31 P 9 2. Anand Parbat is a very busy industrial kind of area with a lot of noise and movement all day long. Gali No 4 is a narrow lane and it can be a bit of a squeeze when delivery trucks are trying to pass each other. We have been doing our work here for quite a while and we are used to the sound of machines and people shouting across the street. It is an honest place to work. Our workshop is filled with the tools we need and it usually smells a bit like metal and dust. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting room with magazines because that is not the kind of place this is. People come here when they need something specific done. We spend a lot of time bent over our work making sure things are right. The lighting inside is a bit dim in the corners but we have good lamps for where we actually sit. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit but we just take a break and wait for it to come back on. It is a simple life and we are happy to be part of the local scene in Anand Parbat. We know most of the people on the street by their first names.
