R P Gayak

R P Gayak is based out of Joharipur, specifically on Street Number 1 in West Karawal Nagar at D 17. It’s a residential-feeling area but we do our business from here. The street is usually pretty narrow, so parking can be a bit of a headache if you’re coming with a big vehicle. We’ve been in this D 17 spot for a good while now. It’s not a corporate office or anything like that, just a place where we get the work finished. Sometimes the neighbor’s kids are playing cricket right outside the door, and we have to tell them to be careful. It’s just a normal street in Karawal Nagar. I usually spend my mornings getting everything ready for the day’s tasks. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't really had the time to get around to it. We focus more on what we are doing inside. It’s a quiet enough place most of the time, except for when the vegetable seller goes past with his cart. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just do it. People in Joharipur know where to find us if they need anything. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us making sure things are handled correctly. We don’t need much else besides a working light and some space to move around. It's a simple life on Street Number 1.
