You can find R L L Dhingra over in the Tis Hazari area, specifically in Joseph Block at C 109. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how crowded and hectic it gets around the courts. It’s a maze of hallways and offices, and our spot is just one of many tucked away in the block. We’ve been in this office for quite a few years now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the shelves are completely stuffed with files and old papers, but we know where everything is. It’s a very functional space. We don’t have fancy leather chairs or a big sign out front. Most people who come to see us are looking for something specific and they usually have a lot on their mind. We just sit at the old wooden desks and go through the paperwork one page at a time. The sounds of the hallway always drift in—people talking, footsteps, the occasional door slamming. It’s a busy atmosphere that never really stops until late in the evening. I usually have a cup of tea sitting on the corner of my desk that’s gone cold because I got distracted by a phone call. We just try to stay on top of the work and help whoever walks through the door at C 109. It’s a local way of doing things, nothing too complicated or over the top.
