R K Inspection Testing Services is based out of Ganesh Nagar, at number 42. It’s a residential-looking area, so people sometimes miss our sign if they aren't looking closely. We have a couple of rooms set up for all our gear and testing tools. It gets a bit cluttered because we have so many different things to check. We try to keep the place clean, but when you're busy, things tend to pile up. I started this after working for a big firm for years and deciding I’d rather do it my own way. We don't have a big fancy logo or anything like that. We just focus on the details. People bring us stuff to look at, and we tell them if it’s good or if it’s got problems. We aren't here to sugarcoat things. If something is broken or doesn't pass, we say so. It’s better to be honest than to have someone get in trouble later. The tea shop around the corner is where we spend most of our lunch breaks. It’s a small operation, just me and two other guys who know their way around the equipment. We don't spend money on ads. Word of mouth usually brings in enough to keep us going. We’re just regular people trying to do a thorough job so our clients don't have any headaches. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know.
