We are over in Jhandewalan Extension, at 1/E/18. R K Electricals & Electronics has been here for a long time. This area is full of offices and small workshops, so we get a lot of people looking for specific wires, switches, or light bulbs. The shop is full of boxes stacked all the way to the ceiling. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for. We have a small workbench in the corner where we fix things like fans or irons when the motor burns out. It smells like solder and old dust in here most of the day. The street outside is usually blocked with delivery trucks, so getting here can be a bit of a struggle. We don't have a big staff, it's just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. We use an old ledger to keep track of our sales. It's more of a practical place than a pretty one. We get a lot of electricians who stop by in the morning to pick up supplies for their daily jobs. We usually have the radio playing in the background. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have much of a sign, just the name painted on the shutter. We close on Sundays like most of the market. It’s a bit messy but we know where every single screw is kept if you ask us.
