R K Bag House

Our shop, R K Bag House, is located at Sarai Jullena, Plot No 156/A on Okhla Road. We are right near the Shaheed Mohan Chand Sharma Chowk, which is a very busy intersection in New Friends Colony. If you walk inside, you will see bags hanging from the ceiling and piled up on the floor. We have school bags, travel suitcases, and even small purses. A lot of our work involves repairing things too. People bring in bags with broken zippers or torn straps, and we sit at the sewing machine to fix them up. The sound of the needle going through heavy fabric is something you hear all day here. Okhla Road is always noisy with traffic, but inside we just focus on the stitches. We’ve been at this spot for years, and the walls are covered with different types of thread and spare buckles. It is a small space, so we have to be careful where we step. Most of our customers are locals from around New Friends Colony or students who need a sturdy bag for their books. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the bags themselves acting as our display out front. It’s a humble business where we use our hands and try to make sure every bag we sell or fix lasts a long time. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we find it satisfying. Sometimes the old machines act up, but we know how to fix them.
