PVR Polymers

Out in Kirti Nagar at I 145, that’s where PVR Polymers is located. This area is mostly industrial, so there’s always the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. We work with polymer materials, which means the place often smells a bit like plastic and industrial chemicals. It’s not the most glamorous job in the world, but it’s what we do to get by. The warehouse is big enough to store the raw materials we get in, though it gets cramped when a big shipment arrives from the trucks. We spend a lot of time checking the weight of bags and making sure the labels are correct on every single one. Most of the people who come here are from other factories nearby looking for supplies for their own production lines. It’s a lot of lifting and moving stuff around on pallets throughout the day. We have a small office corner with an old desk where we handle the paperwork and phone calls. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common in this industrial patch, so we just wait it out in the dark for a while. We aren't really set up for walk-in customers looking for small things; it’s mostly bulk orders that keep us busy. The staff is small, just a few of us who have been working together for years now. We know the routine and we stick to it, making sure the orders go out when they’re supposed to go.
