Psychological Special Education Services

We operate out of B 31 in Inderpuri. It’s a bit of a residential area, so it’s usually quieter than the main roads. Our work is centered around special education, which means we spend our days with kids and their families who need a bit of extra help with learning. The office is set up with some tables and chairs suitable for teaching and some shelves with educational toys and books scattered around. It’s not perfectly organized all the time because when kids are here, things tend to get moved about. We have some charts on the walls and a lot of stationary in the drawers. It feels more like a classroom than a formal office. We spend a lot of time observing how students react to different tasks and then we talk to the parents about what we see. It’s slow work that takes a lot of repetition. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes it a bit tough, but we have fans running to keep everyone cool. We aren't a big institution, just a small group of us trying to help out with education in our own way. People from the neighborhood drop by to ask questions or sign up for sessions. It’s a simple setup that works for us and the families we see. There is a small garden patch out front where the kids sometimes sit if they need a break from the lessons.
