Our office is on the first floor of C 144 in Madhuban, New Delhi. It’s a residential-feeling area but there are plenty of businesses around too. The space we have is quite functional. We’ve got a long hallway and several rooms branching off it. Each room is packed with desks and bookshelves. We have a lot of history in this office, and you can tell by the way the floorboards creak in some spots. We don’t have a fancy lobby. You just come up the stairs and you’re right there with us. The team is quite tight-knit. We’ve been through a lot of busy seasons together. Usually, the office is quiet with just the sound of typing and the occasional phone ringing. We like it that way because it helps us concentrate. The kitchen area is tiny, just enough for a kettle and some biscuits. We usually bring our own lunch from home. The windows let in a decent amount of light, which is nice in the winter. We don’t really bother with decorations much. Just some calendars on the wall and maybe a few photos. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We come in, we work hard, and we go home to our families. It’s a steady routine in a good part of town. The commute is pretty easy for most of us, which makes the long days a little bit easier to handle.
